General Information
(1) Check-in for coaches and players will be on SUNDAY, JUNE 22 , from 12 noon through 3:00 pm in the Towers Complex. Note: All camp staff will meet at 3 p.m. the first day of camp in camp headquarters.
(2) Prior to camp, each camper should mail his or her completed HEALTH EXAMINATION FORM.
(3) At check-in each camper will receive several important items:
a) Room assignment and key.
b) Schedule of camp activities.
c) Camp notebook
NOTE: All campers must leave a $50 deposit for dorm keys. The deposit will be refunded when keys are returned. Any key returned late will be considered lost and the camper will forfeit the deposit.
(4) Campers will be staying in the newly rennovated South Tower. We don't know if bathrooms were changed to suite baths, so prepare for community baths. The good news is the cafeteria is part of the Towers Complex. Be prepared for typical college dorm life. You will need to bring your own
a) sheets (single beds only)
b) pillow and pillow covering
c) towels and toiletry items
d) an alarm device of some sort
e) an umbrella
f) writing instruments (including highlighters)
g) notebook paper or spiral notebook
(5) Dress is casual at camp functions. Shorts are the preferred dress as it is generally very hot in late June. There will be no barefoot or scantily-clad campers!
(6) ALL STUDENT BOARDING CAMPERS MUST HAVE PERMISSION FROM MR. BARRY TO LEAVE THE CAMPUS AT ANY TIME! Please be cooperative in this.
(7) The dorms are supervised at night by two staff members, and an ACE director is on supervisory duty also. Please be cooperative and respectful.
(8) Camp check-out will be from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm on THURSDAY, JUNE 26. You will need to be out of your dorm room by 4:30 pm that afternoon.
(9) Please bring some spending cash as dinner on the last night will NOT be provided by ACE or SEMO State University.
(10) Contact J.R. Barry (jrbarry123@comcast.net or 770-466-3212) if you require more information.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off
Parents may drop off campers beginning at 12 noon on the first day of camp. Registration will continue until 3:00 p.m.
Parents may pick-up campers beginning around 3:30 p.m. the last day of camp. All campers need to be out of their rooms and off campus by 4:30 p.m.
Parents who want to watch the final competition at camp should arrive by 12:00 since the subject area prelims, in which all campers participate, will begin shortly after 12:00.
The location of registration at each camp will be posted when the specific location is confirmed by the respective camp site school. As soon as ACE receives that information, it will be posted on the website.

SEMO’s signature dome is duplicated in flowers at the university’s entrance.
Activities
The Student Rec Center will be available for the student's use. The cost of that usage is $3/day per use. The racquetball courts are $5 per hour per court. If you wanted to rent a gym, it would be $10 per hour per court.
There are basketball and volleyball courts that can be used near the dorms, a ping pong table, etc.
There is a very nice park down the street from the University Center as well that might be an option.
Telephone Messages
During business hours, the camp contact number is (573) 651-2282. The after-hours camp contact number is (573) 450-4418 and is being answered by the Camp Intern.
Also, we will be sending an email that will have Mr. Barry's and Ms. Wright's cell phone numbers listed should parents need them.

For everyone's information who has questions about airport to SEMO transportation:
BART Transportation Service
